Supply of hardware and software
Jentech supply only branded hardware of known pedigree. We are an approved
3COM, NetGear, and Siemens provider with CISCO and Sonic Wall technology.
The above provide a comprehensive range of cards, hubs, switches, routers,
dial-up adaptors, for PSTN, ISDN, ADSL and lease lines, firewalls, VPN
gateways and wireless access points.
We also can install network monitoring systems that are tailored to
your site and equipment. The system monitors all kinds of network activities
and PC health, spawning different levels of Dynamic Alerts to activate
users, Systems Managers, Support Engineers and service providers of problems
and impending potential difficulties.
Configuration (inc. internet set up)
The key to good network operation and efficiency is configuration. This
is an automatic part of the service we supply. The configuration is documented
and these documents are maintained to ensure that system configuration
is known and reproducible in the event of major system disruption.
The test
Our engineers have a full set of diagnostic equipment to validate the
installation integrity before system hardware is installed. A test certificate
for cabling etc can be issued if required.
Deployment
Our installation teams are offering a complete one-stop-shop ensuring
the systems are deployed in a co-ordinated and logical way. As a customer
you get the best of small company attention to detail combined with a

Monitoring
Our Dynamic Alert Technology enable the system to be monitored 24x7
with a user choice of tests and reports to highlight system stress build
up, machine of segment overload, hardware, software or protocol failure.

should be notified and the action provoked even to automatic notification
of your chosen support engineers who may know of the problem before it

Maintenance
Our one-stop shop appraoch ensures you peace of mind. Whatever the issue
or fault (on any hardware purchased from Jentech under a maintenance contract)
it will be dealt with at no extra cost to the you, the customer. We also
carry out preventative maintenance services once per year on all hardware
covered to reduce to a minimum any chance of equipment failure. This is
all covered by a flat rate 12.5% annual premium of the RRP of your equipment
.

Total virus protection
We are a fully accredited Network Associates Inc Partner offering the
full range of products from 'Spam Killer' to 'Active Virus Defence' with
'ePolicy Orchestrator' the premier server product for large integrated
networked.
Firewall protection for network security
Protecting your network against external attack from the internet is
a vital part of your security strategy and cannot be overlooked. Eliminate
vulnerabilities by installing a firewall, available in configurations
from Small Office / Home Office (SOHO) to enterprise-level solutions.
Firewall options include Virtual Private Networking, virus scanning and
undesirable content filtering.
Backup regime implementation
Service is the key. We believe it is our duty to pour all of our 20+
years of experience into our customer’s backup regimes. We have
tried and tested backup strategies for system recovery and archiving that
have proved invaluable time and again. We are a faullty Accredited Backup
Exec provider and well versed in NT backup scripting and Unix and Linux
backup procedures and protocols.

With the growth of leased line and permanently
